Job Title: Senior Architect/ Architectural Technologist

About the Role:

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect/ Architectural Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our architecture department, you will be responsible for leading and managing architectural projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage architectural projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to deliver projects that meet their needs and expectations.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure efficient use of resources and effective communication.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, building regulations, and planning policies to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Contribute to business development and growth initiatives, identifying new opportunities and partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Substantial years of industry experience post-qualification in a UK-based practice.
  • Proven experience in Revit, Adobe, and Sketchup, with a strong understanding of their applications in architectural projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of UK planning policies and building regulations, with the ability to apply them in a practical context.
