We are seeking a Facilities Leadership Position candidate to join our client's team in North-East Scotland. The successful applicant will oversee multiple sites and be responsible for the overall strategy and direction of site operations.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading renewable energy provider and contribute to the company's growth and success.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in site management, leadership, and operations. They will be responsible for overseeing budgets, key performance indicators (KPIs), data-driven decision-making, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead both direct and indirect reports, manage relationships with third-party partners, and ensure all operational targets are met. Additionally, you will be part of the on-call escalation process for the sites within the wider group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • P&L Responsibility: Ensure financial targets are met through effective cost management, strategic planning, and budget oversight.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and industry standards (COMAH, OFGEM, ISO, etc.).
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of 10+ people, fostering a culture of safety, high performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive improvements through data analysis, trend identification, and corrective action where necessary.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the key point of contact for third-party authorities and stakeholders.
