We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in developing electronic control and communication systems for our industry sector.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with colleagues to design, develop, and refine electronic control and communication software for new products and existing product enhancements.
- Conduct diagnostics to identify problem root causes and implement fixes.
- Utilize project management methodologies to work collaboratively with the team on projects from start to completion, providing expert input into new feature development.
- Provide technical expertise to ensure existing product ranges remain compliant, updating them as necessary.
- Ongoing review and optimization of software designs to identify cost savings and performance improvements, staying up-to-date with industry technologies and advancements.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, analyzing, and developing embedded systems.
- Ability to rapidly prototype embedded boards for development.
- Innovative thinking with effective communication of new ideas.
- Strong IT skills with experience in C programming and assembler (8/16/32 bit platforms).
- Experience in serial protocols (RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI) and ADC techniques.
- Experience in code porting between different microcontroller architectures.
- Able to build good working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Good organization and time management skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Experience with RF comms functionality (WiFi/Bluetooth/ISM systems).
- Experience with Modbus protocol.
- Experience in Windows and Linux development environments.
- Experience with Embedded Wizard.
