We are partnering with a Local Authority in Enfield to fill a Youth and Family Practitioner position on a 3-month contract, with potential for extension. Please submit your CV for consideration.

Rate of Pay: £21.28-£26.01 per Hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish positive relationships with young people in the Wood Green custody
  • Screen and identify young people's additional needs and risks using provided tools
  • Deliver targeted support and evidence-based interventions as part of the Early Help approach
  • Provide information, advice, and guidance, making referrals and signposting young people to Early Help services as needed
  • Conduct post-release meetings with young people and their families/carers to follow up on support and identified needs

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with children and young people aged 11-19, particularly those who are vulnerable
  • Qualification in Youth Work (JNC or equivalent to NVQ Level 4) or other relevant professional qualification
  • Experience working with families/parents/carers in a multi-agency environment

  • You should be available to start immediately or at short notice
  • You should have the right to work in the UK
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS
