We are seeking a Child Welfare Specialist to join our team at Plymouth City Council. As a key member of our Permanence Service, you will work closely with children, young people, and partners to achieve the best outcomes through high-quality care and pathway plans.

With a strong commitment to maintaining manageable caseloads, you will develop close relationships with children and young people to support them in their goals. Their voices will be at the heart of everything you do.

This role requires an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service Check, including checks for the Children's and Adult's Barred Lists.

The position offers flexible working arrangements, subject to service needs. We strive for equality and offer guaranteed interviews to those who meet essential criteria and are considered disabled, care experienced, or an Armed Forces Service Leaver within the last two years.

We provide up to £8,000 in relocation support.
