Job Overview:

  • You will oversee the implementation of evidence-based practices to enhance communication and swallowing abilities in patients with acquired brain injuries.
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, you will ensure seamless delivery of person-centered care, focusing on empowerment and independence.
  • To achieve these goals, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and updating treatment plans, and providing guidance and support to junior colleagues.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A strong educational background in Speech and Language Therapy, preferably with a focus on acquired brain injury.
  • Advanced knowledge of SaLT models and interventions, including cognitive-communication and social-communication approaches.
  • Proven experience in managing complex dysphagia cases, ensuring timely and effective interventions to minimize risks.
