Job Description
We are seeking an experienced assessor and internal quality assurance professional to join our friendly Learning and Development Team. This is a dual-role position, working across two departments; you will have responsibility for the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) process for our School and College assessors, and you'll be assessing and quality assuring our internal care staff qualifications, driving forward the quality, performance, and improvements across our teaching and learning provisions.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and quality assuring mandatory qualifications under Ofsted, CQC, and City & Guilds. They will also deliver teaching and learning workshops, prepare and maintain qualification paperwork, support the Lead Assessor to ensure qualifications are achieved within the set time frame, and advise on completion of qualifications for reports all whilst ensuring targets and deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing and quality assuring mandatory qualifications under Ofsted, CQC, and City & Guilds
- Delivering teaching and learning workshops
- Preparing and maintaining qualification paperwork
- Supporting the Lead Assessor to ensure qualifications are achieved within the set time frame
- Advising on completion of qualifications for reports all whilst ensuring targets and deadlines are met
Requirements
The successful candidate will have experience in learning and development, care or the education sector and will hold a qualification in Internal Quality Assurance and Assessing. They should also hold a RQF Level 3 in Residential Child Care (or equivalent) and be willing to work towards their Level 5.
