Job Description:

Role Overview

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with SEN, a strong understanding of the challenges faced by these pupils, and effective strategies to support them. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a patient and compassionate approach, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, adapting resources and activities to meet their unique needs.
  • Assist in planning and implementing personalized learning plans, ensuring pupil progress and development.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment that encourages pupil engagement and participation.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupil progress and support strategies.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of working with children with SEN.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team and foster positive relationships.
