We're seeking a highly skilled Finance Systems Analyst to join our team at First Central Services UK Ltd. As a key member of our finance operations, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation, maintenance, and enhancement of our core financial applications, Workday and TM1.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, testing, and implementing technical system changes to continuously enhance our finance processes. You will also assist in the design and production of Workday reports, business processes, and integrations. Additionally, you will provide support for finance system updates, maintain end-user setups, and challenge current practices to improve processes while managing risk.

As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will work closely with the Group Finance Systems Manager to deliver small-scale projects with the help of 3rd party vendors. You will also act as a key point of contact for any incidents or issues, coordinating with stakeholders and vendors to resolve problems.

We're looking for a candidate with a background in an accounting/finance function, especially as a finance system administrator or in a finance change role. You should have proven ability to build trust with stakeholders and resolve conflicts. Familiarity with ERP, General Ledger, or P2P systems together with Workday and TM1 is a plus.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, test, and implement technical system changes to deliver ongoing continuous improvements to Finance
  • Assist with the management and delivery of small-scale projects with the help of 3rd party support
  • Assist in the design and production of Workday reports, Business Processes, and Integrations
  • Act as a focus point for any incidents and issues, liaising with relevant stakeholders and 3rd party support/vendors to agree actions, owners, and dates
  • Build effective working relationships and influence across all levels, fostering an open and collaborative culture
  • Provide support for finance system updates and development work across all finance systems
  • Challenging current practices, actively seeking to improve processes, whilst managing risk
  • End user set-up and security maintenance, as required

What we're looking for:

  • Background in an accounting/finance function, especially as a finance system administrator or in a finance change role
  • Proven ability to build trust with stakeholders and resolve conflicts
  • Familiarity with ERP, General Ledger, or P2P systems together with Workday and TM1 is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and strong mathematical, analytical, and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with senior managers, colleagues, and external stakeholders
