Job Description

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Game Designer to share their expert industry knowledge as a Game Design Educator. Our client, a leading provider of education and training in the games industry, is seeking a highly skilled professional to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Game Design processes, technical principles, and create educational materials
  • Teach foundational and advanced Game Design concepts
  • Guide students on industry projects, providing feedback and evaluations
  • Conduct training sessions in various formats (classroom, online, etc.)
  • Offer individual feedback, coaching, and support to students

Requirements:

  • A thorough understanding of modern Game Design, systems, mechanics, and techniques
  • Experienced in Unreal Engine, Blueprints, and game engine optimization
  • Understanding of Q+A and Agile Development
  • Teaching experience and/or a willingness to undertake training
  • Ability to provide a portfolio or documentation to show Game Design work, GDD, breakdowns, examples, and videos of work

Working Arrangements:

This role is hybrid, with a mix of on-site and remote work. On non-teaching days, you can work from home if you wish, and teaching days are on-site. The exact number of days per week will depend on the timetable.
