About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Licensing Officer to join our team in Essex. As a key member of our licensing department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and providing excellent customer service to the public. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in licensing law and practice.
Responsibilities:
- Advising on licensing matters, including applications, renewals, and enforcement action
- Maintaining accurate records and databases
- Collaborating with other teams to achieve departmental objectives
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Licensing Officer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of the Licensing Act 2003 and Taxi Licensing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
