Social Lens Studio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations and Project Manager to join our team on a freelance basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects, streamlining processes, and ensuring the smooth operation of our small team.
Main Responsibilities- Take ownership of project management for key content creation work processes.
- Work directly with the Director to make existing processes more efficient.
- Liaise with team members and freelancers to keep processes running smoothly.
- Document project work processes to keep client project delivery running smoothly.
- Help the Director to fill role openings on new project work.
- Experience managing teams, budgets, and resources (preferably in an online content or digital marketing environment).
- A knack for making complex processes more simple.
- Experience setting up and documenting new work processes, and keeping them running smoothly.
- Experience scaling teams and processes (preferably remotely).
- Excellent knowledge of Notion and Google Drive products.
- Exceptional organisational skills and extremely strong attention to detail.
- A pro-active working style and the ability to work and communicate effectively while working fully remotely.
- An understanding of video production or documentary production.
- Knowledge of and experience with other project management tools you can recommend to the team when appropriate.
- Familiarity with building marketing funnels.
- A passion for working with non-profits and making sure everyone is treated fairly in the process.
- Have your own laptop/computer and reliable internet.
- Be registered to carry out client work and be eligible to collaborate with a UK company.
- Have experience managing projects and streamlining operations (preferably in a marketing or content agency environment).
Social Lens Studio is a boutique production agency offering impact film production & strategy, and digital content. Our small team of documentary producers and impact strategists help our clients to maximise their impact through ethical storytelling: from non-profits, to research institutions, to purpose-led companies, to media outlets, and more.
We have worked with clients like Kew Gardens, University of Surrey, and European Social Network to create results like growing client audiences over 80 fold, engaging with key influencers in campaigns, and securing press coverage. All while respecting the people in front of and behind the camera.
