We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Learning Disability Physiotherapist to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with learning disabilities, considering their safety, privacy, and dignity.
- Plan, implement, and review health improvement programmes in various settings.
- Supervise, mentor, and train students and practitioners, providing clinical support and guidance.
- Registered practitioner with degree/diploma level qualifications and post-registration specialist training.
- Membership of the relevant Professional Body.
- Experience at Practitioner Band 5 level.
- Demonstrable experience in supporting individuals with persistent pain.
Full training and support will be provided. This is a fixed-term role, and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
