About the Role

The British Science Association is seeking experienced professionals to fill the role of Building Managers for the upcoming British Science Festival 2024. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of events within your allocated venue.

As a Building Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact between the Festival Assistants, members of the public, and the BSA Operations Team. Your duties will include managing a small team of Festival Assistants, coordinating tasks, and resolving any issues that may arise during the event.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the BSA and ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained.
  • Collaborate with the BSA Operations Team to resolve problems and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Manage Festival Assistants, ensuring they complete all necessary tasks and schedules are adhered to.
  • Assist with evacuation procedures and access control, training provided.
