About the Role

Roc Search is seeking an experienced Unreal Engine Senior Developer to join our client's design agency, specializing in immersive projects. This is a unique opportunity to lead high-profile projects globally, focusing on technical aspects from creative support to delivery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead project tasks and take charge of real-time projects as needed
  • Implement bespoke interactive applications using Unreal Engine
  • Maintain existing systems and ensure technical excellence
  • Develop and implement solutions for interactive experiential projects, including ongoing maintenance
  • Coordinate with external teams and freelancers
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital and real-time standards to support the digital offering and end-user experience
  • Develop interactive software for various exhibits, including digital twins, VR, AR, and touchscreens
  • Improve workflow to support current and future media creation
  • Share knowledge and apply it to projects, collaborating with designers, producers, content developers, and other developers
  • Support maintenance of production tools (Perforce, GitLab, AWS, etc.)
Requirements
  • Demonstrable senior experience (10+ years) with Unreal Engine
  • Previous experience leading complex projects and coordinating between teams
  • Expert knowledge of Unreal Engine, Blueprint, and C++
  • Thorough understanding of 3D optimization processes
  • Able to adapt and master new technical environments
  • Analytic approach to problem-solving
  • Able to manage time effectively
  • Experience with one or more DCC tools (3ds Max, Maya, Blender, Rhino, etc.)
  • Experience integrating APIs
  • Knowledge of code versioning (Perforce, Plastic, Git, etc.)
  • Attention to detail
