Senior Software Engineer - Unreal Engine

CATCHES is a pre-seed start-up backed by some of the most influential names in luxury fashion globally. We've partnered with the global leaders in cloud computing and AI to integrate advanced 3D rendering, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Visual Effects (VFX) techniques to create unparalleled shopping experiences for luxury fashion and exclusive events.

Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team and push the boundaries of what can be achieved within Unreal Engine. This is a unique role working on previously unsolved problems that will require the use of bleeding edge features to deliver high quality renders to end users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing our scalable cloud rendering solution based on Unreal
  • Creating internal tooling for both technical and creative users by making modifications to Unreal Engine itself
  • Working in C++ to extend the engine and build new features
  • Optimising both real-time and offline rendering performance in engine
  • Developing and maintaining CI pipelines to automate the packaging of Unreal projects and assets
  • Working with creatives, gathering requirements and building internal tools to assist with the creation of assets through automation
Requirements
  • Strong C++ skills
  • Unreal Engine experience (UE4 or UE5)
  • Experience modifying Unreal Engine source code
  • Development on both Windows and Linux platforms
