Senior Ecology Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Ecologist to lead ecology-focused projects and oversee ecological/ornithological aspects within broader initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects driving the global journey to net zero.
Responsibilities- Lead ecology-focused projects, ensuring compliance with UK conservation legislation and protected species licensing.
- Conduct and supervise ecological surveys, producing high-quality reports and technical chapters that set industry standards.
- Build strong client relationships, attend networking events, and represent the company at conferences to drive future business growth.
- Participate in the development of innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges.
- Strong background in project management, ecological surveys, and technical report writing.
- Deep knowledge of UK ecology, conservation legislation, and protected species licensing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
This role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible and hybrid working options.
