Senior Fund Controller

Join Equifind, a fast-growing private equity real estate firm in the City of London, as a Senior Fund Controller. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a dynamic portfolio of active investments and ongoing acquisitions for our European-focused investor.

What will I be doing?
  • Lead a small team of Fund Accountants and Controllers.
  • Oversight investor reporting, presentations, and fund analysis, including quarterly performance reports for portfolio managers.
  • Manage statutory, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with investors and executives on specific fund administration, accounting, and performance matters.
  • Maintain and calculate complex LP capital allocation balances monthly.
  • Monitor and manage cash flows, including coordination and review of payment runs, liaising with internal accounts payable teams and service providers.
  • Report performance metrics internally and input financial elements into JV partner reports.
  • Maintain databases of companies and assets under management, equity, and debt.
  • Provide reporting and assistance to Investment, Asset Management, and Development teams, including actuals against budgets, debt/equity stats, tenant covenant analysis.
  • Establish new entities and structures as required.
  • Support the Investment team in deal processes, including provision of KYC information, review, and coordination of financial due diligence, and arranging equity calls and cash movements.
Requirements
  • A qualified accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA preferred).
  • At least seven years' experience in fund finance functions, ideally within the real estate/real assets sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles, regulations, and standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate meaningful insights.
  • Proficient in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Experience in managing internal controls, risk assessment, and compliance activities.
