About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Apparel Product Developer to join our in-house Design Centre team at Footasylum. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development of our own brand products, working closely with our Design, Buying, and Merchandising teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement product development strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and test products, ensuring compliance with regulations and product safety standards.
  • Conduct fit sessions, analyze technical issues, and provide clear and concise feedback to suppliers.
  • Manage and support design handovers, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Liaise with overseas suppliers, travel for production and development trips, and provide technical guidance on new product development.
  • Support the graphics team with reporting development and production issues.
  • Assist with bulk QC checks and ensure quality control processes are in place.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in the high-street fashion industry, with a strong understanding of product development, design, and technical processes. You will be self-motivated, have good time management skills, and be able to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
