About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Specialist to join our team at Footasylum. As a key member of our Design Centre, you will be responsible for the development of our own brand products, working closely with our Apparel Design, Buying, and Merchandising teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain critical paths to ensure smooth development processes and meet ex-factory dates.
  • Control all sample stages, ensuring timely completion and accurate cost pricing.
  • Conduct fit sessions, making commercial decisions with the Brand Manager and Buying team.
  • Measure and send comments on own brand samples across all categories.
  • Analyse technical issues, sending clear and concise comments to suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, product safety, and legislations.
  • Test and analyse product performance, fabric, and garment testing, and quality control.
  • Manage and support Design Handovers, working directly with overseas suppliers and travelling for production and development trips.
  • Liaise with Design and Buying teams to offer technical guidance on new product development.
  • Support Design/Development teams to achieve innovative and performance-based products.
  • Assist with bulk QC checks when required.

About You

We are looking for a self-motivated and highly organised individual with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the Highstreet Fashion Industry. You will have excellent time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
