We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Leader to join our team at BAM. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the environmental aspects of our projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.

The Eastern Green Link 2 (EGL2) project is a significant undertaking that involves the creation of a 525kV, 2GW high voltage direct current (HVDC) subsea transmission cable from Peterhead in Scotland to Drax in England. This project will have a major impact on the environment, and we need someone with the expertise to ensure its successful delivery.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement effective environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate environmental risks.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders, including environmental regulators and supply chain specialists.
