Role:
As a key member of our team, you will oversee all laboratory functions, ensuring the development and testing of high-quality personal care products align with market trends and consumer demands.

You will be responsible for managing a team of skilled lab technicians and chemists, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency in product formulation and testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lab Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the R&D and QC laboratories, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  2. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor lab personnel, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  3. Product Formulation & Development: Lead the formulation, testing, and optimization of new personal care products, aligned with market trends and consumer demands.
  4. Quality Control: Ensure consistent product quality by establishing and maintaining rigorous QC testing protocols.
  5. Compliance & Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate records of lab activities and product specifications, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  6. Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements in lab operations and testing methods to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


Qualifications:
  1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in a laboratory management role within the personal care or related industry.
  3. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of formulation science, raw materials, and analytical techniques for personal care products.
  4. Leadership Abilities: Proven experience managing and mentoring lab teams, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others.
  5. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
