Urban Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team in Tunbridge Wells. As a Senior Planner, you will provide professional planning advice to external clients and multidisciplinary teams, preparing and managing a variety of planning applications while carrying a personal caseload with guidance from the team leader.
The role involves working on a range of projects, from major residential and commercial developments to smaller rural schemes. You will work closely with the planning team to deliver projects, produce and review high-quality planning reports, and manage and negotiate planning submissions.
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in a relevant planning or related discipline, experience in development planning or management, and strong technical ability with a solid understanding of current planning issues.
