About the Role

Able Bridge Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Associate to join their team in Glasgow. As a key member of the tax department, you will be responsible for providing corporate and personal tax services to a portfolio of businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and filing personal tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, including self-employed individuals and those with rental income.
  • Advising clients on tax-efficient structures for investments, pensions, and savings.
  • Dealing with HMRC enquiries and investigations related to individual tax returns.
  • Preparing and filing corporation tax returns for UK companies, including those with complex group structures.
  • Advising clients on corporate tax planning strategies, such as capital allowances, research and development tax relief, and group relief.
  • Dealing with HMRC enquiries and investigations related to corporate tax returns.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced tax professional with either CTA or ATT tax qualification or an individual who has worked within tax (in an accounting firm in UK), for at least 5 years. You should be able to communicate effectively with clients and work collaboratively with a team.

Our client will be expecting the successful applicant to be based in the office on a blended working model, the model that we are working with is 60% in the office and 40% working at home, however this may change and you may be expected to work more often in the office. If, however, applicants wish to work longer in the office the option is available to them.
