About the Role

Able Bridge Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Associate to join their team in Glasgow city centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing corporate and personal tax services to a portfolio of businesses, including tax planning and HMRC compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and filing personal tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, including self-employed individuals and those with rental income.
  • Advising clients on tax-efficient structures for investments, pensions, and savings.
  • Dealing with HMRC enquiries and investigations related to individual tax returns.
  • Preparing and filing corporation tax returns for UK companies, including those with complex group structures.
  • Advising clients on corporate tax planning strategies, such as capital allowances, research and development tax relief, and group relief.
  • Dealing with HMRC enquiries and investigations related to corporate tax returns.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced tax professional with either CTA or ATT tax qualification or an individual who has worked within tax (in an accounting firm in UK), for at least 5 years. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with clients and work collaboratively as part of a team.
