Conveyancing Support Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conveyancing Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Residential Conveyancing department, you will provide exceptional support to our Fee Earner, ensuring efficient and compliant handling of all conveyancing matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized support to the Fee Earner, assisting with daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ensure adherence to Anti-Money Laundering regulations and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and other third parties.
  • Manage a small caseload, including re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and sales, under supervision.
  • Prepare and review mortgage reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct searches, draft financial statements, and request lender funds as part of the completion process.
  • Manage the transfer of funds via BACS/CHAPS, update account ledgers, and handle post-completion formalities.
  • Complete and submit Stamp Duty Land Tax Return forms, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Prepare and submit Land Registry applications, addressing any requisitions and ensuring compliance.
  • Undertake CQS training courses to obtain necessary CPD points, enhancing your knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of AML regulations and compliance, with experience in residential conveyancing preferred.
  • Proficiency in using conveyancing software and tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
