About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Mechanical Teacher to join our team at The Manchester College. As a Mechanical Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students, providing expert support and guidance to help them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students, catering to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students, aligning with the college's curriculum and standards.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their academic milestones.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support professionals to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum materials, ensuring they are relevant, engaging, and effective.
Requirements
  • Qualified Mechanical Teacher (L1 to L3 Light Vehicle) with a strong background in achieving great results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Experience in working with diverse student populations, including those with special educational needs.
