Caretaker Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Caretaker to join our team at Dovetail and Slate Ltd. As a key member of our estates team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our site, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out outdoor maintenance tasks, including grounds upkeep and repairs
- Perform typical caretaking duties, such as cleaning and minor repairs
- Conduct general maintenance and upkeep tasks, as required
- Work collaboratively with the estates team to ensure the smooth operation of all site buildings and grounds
- Support the Head of Estates in preparing maintenance and development plans
- Handle goods in and portering tasks, including receiving, delivering, and maintaining records of equipment and parcels
- Conduct health and safety checks and implement measures to improve service standards
- Relevant experience in estates, caretaking, or a related field
- Knowledge of DIY and maintenance skills
- Trade experience is desirable, but not essential
- Able to pass a DBS check and have no previous convictions
