Job Title: Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Social Work team at South Ayrshire Council. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of social workers and support staff in ensuring that access to services, assessments and reviews are completed timeously in line with national and local performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of social workers and support staff to achieve high-quality outcomes for service users.
  • Develop and implement effective team plans to meet performance targets.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
  • Experience of working in a social work team leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage competing priorities.
