About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our team as a Senior Podiatrist for Offender Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality podiatry care to patients within our correctional facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat patients with a range of podiatry conditions, including complex cases.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient needs and goals.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest podiatry techniques and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualifications in podiatry.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (SCoP).
  • Experience working in a correctional setting, with a focus on offender health.
  • Advanced skills in nail surgery and biomechanics.
