Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Estimation and Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed cost estimates and financial reports to ensure accurate project budgeting and forecasting.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Contract Administration and Dispute Resolution: Assist in contract administration and dispute resolution to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Final Account Preparation and Negotiation: Prepare and negotiate final accounts to ensure accurate project closure.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
  • Experience: Industrial and ground work (deep earthworks) experience is desirable.
  • Track Record: Have a track record of working for a main contractor or similar size.
  • Contract Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contracts.
  • IT Skills: Excellent IT skills across Microsoft suites.
