About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years SENCo to join our team at Pegasus Primary School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring that children with special educational needs receive the support and care they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for identifying and assessing special educational needs.
  • Co-ordinate the provision of support for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities in the Early Years.
  • Liaise closely with parents, outside agencies, and other professionals to ensure that the needs of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities are met.
  • Provide professional training and guidance to colleagues, working closely with all staff.
