We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team at Michael Page Finance. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading a team of finance professionals and providing financial guidance to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Manage the preparation of financial reports, including management accounts and budget forecasts.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial guidance and support to the management team, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Manage the fixed asset module and ensure depreciation is accurately recorded.
- Oversee the process of daily posting of bank transactions and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded in Sage 200.
- Support the Director of Finance in the compilation of the overall school budget and provide budget tracking and guidance to budget holders.
- Professional financial qualification, such as CIMA or ACCA.
- Previous experience in finance, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial software, including Sage 200.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
