About the Role:
We are a state-of-the-art care home based in a convenient location, offering nursing and dementia care to up to 66 residents. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Providing personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and serving
- Supporting residents with their mobility and transferring needs
- Encouraging residents to participate in activities and engage with their surroundings
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 6 months' experience working as a Care Assistant or a related role
- SVQ 2 (Health & Social Care) or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to care
