Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned operations manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our material handling equipment operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering comprehensive training programs on a variety of equipment and compliance. They will also be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training and Development:
    • Plan, organize, and deliver comprehensive training programs on material handling equipment and compliance.
    • Develop and implement training materials and resources.
    • Evaluate trainees' performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day activities of our material handling equipment operations.
    • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of our equipment across all operations.
    • Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and manage a team of operations staff.
    • Develop and implement team-building initiatives to improve morale and productivity.
    • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers.
    • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to plan, organize, and deliver training programs.
    • Knowledge of material handling equipment and compliance regulations.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
