Job Title: Day Shift Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Day Shift Supervisor to join our team at Poole Bay Holdings Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our operational supervisors on site, covering annual leave and planning, organizing, and delivering comprehensive training programs on Material Handling Equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with internal and external customers to develop effective working relationships.
  • Maintain attention to quality and right first time.
  • Conduct daily team briefings, shift reporting, and handovers.
  • Deliver engaging and informative training sessions on Material Handling Equipment.
  • Customize training programs to meet the specific needs and requirements of our business.
  • Ensure all training sessions comply with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Evaluate trainees' performance and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Ability to optimize data for commercial growth and direct marketing response.
  • Ability to make recommendations to improve data management and internal processes.
  • Ability to gather, manipulate, and analyze data to inform decisions.
  • Ability to work at pace, under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to foster strong working relationships.
  • Adaptability and willingness to be flexible in a dynamic working environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent level of accuracy in delivering work.
  • Excellent level of IT proficiency, including MS Office and other reporting/data manipulation tools and software.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Relevant commercial and direct marketing concepts.
  • Relevant, deep knowledge of PBH products and markets.
  • Understanding of relevant commercial and marketing concepts and their implementation.
