About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Engineer to join our team in the UK offices, specializing in bridge design and civil infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of major projects across the UK, collaborating with experienced engineers and contributing to the development of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver bridge projects, including loading to Eurocodes, element design, and detailing to Eurocodes.
  • Lead and supervise engineers and BIM/CAD technicians in the production of design deliverables.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective designs, considering factors such as project timelines, budgets, and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project objectives, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve design and project delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years' experience in civil engineering design, with a focus on bridge design and loading to Eurocodes.
  • Proven experience in steel and concrete design to Eurocodes, as well as computer software for structure analysis.
  • BEng or MEng degree in Civil Engineering, with a strong academic record and a commitment to professional development.
  • Working towards Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE) status.
