About the Role: Academic Mentor with Sports Focus

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Academic Mentor with a focus on sports in a mainstream secondary school within Workington. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting students who require extra help with their emotional and behavioural needs, enabling them to access the curriculum and make progress in their learning.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate in sports or a related subject to start their career in a supportive and challenging role. You will work closely with our experienced professionals to develop and deliver bespoke interventions and support strategies that meet the individual needs of each student.

Key Requirements:
  • A degree in Sports or a related subject
  • Experience of working with children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: £90-£130 per day
