Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our Additional Learning Support Team as a Learning Support Assistant. This is a part-time role, working 30 hours per week for 37 weeks, term time plus one training week.
About the RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide in and out of class support to assist students with learning difficulties/disabilities to help them achieve their best possible outcomes. This may involve supporting with personal care and/or literacy and numeracy. You will be working closely with the Student Support team to plan, prepare, and review learning in conjunction with relevant curriculum staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide in and out of class support to students with learning difficulties/disabilities
- Support with personal care and/or literacy and numeracy
- Work closely with the Student Support team to plan, prepare, and review learning
- Assist in the planning, preparation, and reviewing of learning in conjunction with relevant curriculum staff
- Provide feedback and carry out reviews as appropriate to ensure students are making expected progress and working towards outcomes
- Hold or be working towards your Maths and English L2/C grade
- Be willing to work towards an adult learner support or equivalent qualification
- Have experience supporting students in an educational setting and knowledge of SEND, ALS, and EHCPs
