About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Appetite 4 Recruitment. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement culinary strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Lead a high-performing team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement business plans, including menu development, pricing, and marketing strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
