Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing our plant and equipment to the highest standards, ensuring maximum availability and reliability of the production process and CHP plant.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Maintenance and Development: Undertake preventative and corrective maintenance routines to ensure maximum availability and reliability of the production process and CHP plant.
  • Troubleshooting and Project Management: Troubleshoot, manage projects, and refurbish equipment to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Education and Qualifications: A recognized apprenticeship in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Control and Instrumentation engineering, and HNC level qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Control and Instrumentation engineering.
  • Skills and Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of industrial instrumentation, fault-finding techniques, calibration procedures, and control systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong commitment to safety, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
