Job Summary:
Shire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Clinical Services to join our team. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical services operation within our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure high-quality patient care is delivered through effective clinical governance and leadership.
- Implement and manage clinical department budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with multi-disciplinary teams to promote effective collaboration.
- Deliver career pathways to clinical staff, including talent mapping and succession planning.
- Oversee clinical staffing and ensure that all clinical staff are adequately trained and equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Accreditation/registration with the relevant body (e.g. Nursing, Family Therapists, Psychotherapists, Psychologists, CBT Therapists, etc.).
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience and previous management experience.
- Desirable experience of working within Acute or PICU settings, or a strong interest/passion in working with complex mental health.
Contract Details:
- Contract type: Permanent
- Hours: 37.5 hours, full-time
- Salary: £60,000 FTE
