About the Role

Teaching Personnel is seeking a certified English Teacher to work in our partner schools across the Solihull area of Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong classroom presence, excellent subject knowledge, and the ability to deliver engaging English lessons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver exciting English lessons in line with national curriculum guidelines
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Assess pupil progress and provide timely feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth-running department
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in English Literature/Language
  • Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
  • Ability to manage behaviour effectively
  • Strong subject knowledge
