Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Ravenhurst Residential Care Home. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, leading a team of care professionals, and ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the care home, including leading a team of care professionals and ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.
  • Form strong relationships with staff, residents, and their families, and contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to develop and implement care plans, policies, and procedures that meet the needs of our residents and staff.
  • Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality care and service.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and service delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a residential care setting, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Full, valid driver's license and access to own vehicle (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, residents, and their families.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of care professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
