Art Teacher Opportunity in Manchester

Aspire People is partnering with a reputable secondary school in Manchester to find a dedicated Art Teacher to join their team.

This is a full-time, long-term position that requires the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons to students from KS3 to KS4
  • Mark and assess student work, participate in department meetings, and contribute to the school's commitment to high academic and behavioural standards
  • Create a positive learning environment that fosters student progress and helps them achieve their target grades
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
  • Experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting (ECTs with relevant placement experience will also be considered)
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A collaborative mindset, eager to work as part of a team and share best practices
  • Availability to start immediately and commit to the role on a long-term basis

All candidates registering with Aspire People will undergo a reference check covering the past two years and must complete an enhanced DBS check, including enrolment in the update service.

We also offer a referral bonus of up to £250 for successful candidate recommendations.
