Forensic Psychiatrist

Medacs is seeking an experienced Forensic Psychiatry Specialist to join our team at Oxleas NHS Trust. As a Forensic Psychiatry Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in forensic psychiatry. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a range of mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and support to patients.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address the needs of patients with forensic mental health conditions.
- Provide education and training to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals on forensic psychiatry.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to forensic psychiatry.
- MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent.
- 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
