Job Title: Forensic Psychiatry, Speciality Doctor

About the Role

You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with a range of mental health conditions, including those with a history of offending behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide high-quality care to patients, including medication management, therapy, and support.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
  • MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent.
  • 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
