Job Description Summary

The North Europe Grid System Integration (GSI) team is seeking a Quality and Compliance Engineer to join the engineering delivery team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the objective of delivering high-quality projects by capturing and capitalizing on learning experiences from current and past projects.
  • Lead and manage the capturing and capitalization of learning experiences from current and past projects, including communication of issues and process changes to avoid reoccurrence.
  • Undertake regular audits on the application of processes used by the Engineering Team at both the tender and project delivery phases.
  • Identify and document non-conformance and manage the undertaking of short and long-term corrective actions.
  • Ensure that processes used by the Engineering team are coordinated, both within the Engineering function and with other parts of the business.
  • Represent the North and South Europe Region at a global level for the creation and deployment of high-level centralized Engineering procedures.
  • Support the introduction of continuous improvement actions from a process development and deployment perspective.
  • Continually educate the Engineering teams on the application of processes and business expectations.
Requirements:
  • A first degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience working in a role that has exposure to project delivery activities, and be familiar with the types of processes and procedures used to deliver large capital projects.
  • Be familiar with quality systems and undertaking process auditing, and be able to undertake and use techniques and tools for process improvement.
  • Regularly create business processes & procedures and provide education to the users.
