Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical & Plumbing Bias

Location

Apleona is a UK provider of integrated facilities management.

We're currently looking to recruit a site-based Maintenance Engineer with Mechanical & Plumbing Bias. Based at a commercial, client site; this role will be focused on delivery of planned preventative maintenance along with additional works, reactive fault finding, repairs, installations, and support event set ups.

This role will be orientated around mechanical and plumbing works with a requirement for flexibility and willingness to undertake other basic maintenance works which fall within the scope of the contract. This could be a variety of jobs relating to maintaining, repairing, and installing assets around the site whether it be a specific piece of equipment, works to a building or the site infrastructure.

As an Apleona Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical & Plumbing Bias), we're looking for:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or similar recognised qualification
  • NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or similar recognised qualification
  • Knowledge of Building Services – BMS, Fire Alarm preferable
  • Maintenance and Cleaning of FCU's
  • Water Testing (L8), Fire Alarm testing and general fabric, handyperson tasks
  • Working with and managing specialist sub-contractors

In return, we'll provide you with full training on 'specialist' items once you start and make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job and be part of the team.

You will work the above shift pattern and be paid an annual salary of £36,500 with access to the following Apleona employee benefits: 22 Holiday Days, plus Bank Holidays, Employee discounts via Perkbox, Cycle to work scheme, Access to a virtual GP.
