About the Role

Apleona is a leading provider of integrated facilities management services, and we're currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical and plumbing bias to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned preventative maintenance and additional works, as well as reactive fault finding, repairs, and installations.
  • Support and participate in an on-call rota, working collaboratively with the site-based team.
  • Undertake a variety of maintenance tasks, including mechanical and plumbing works, to maintain, repair, and install assets around the site.
  • Work with and manage specialist sub-contractors, ensuring seamless delivery of services.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a similar recognized qualification.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or a similar recognized qualification.
  • Knowledge of Building Services, including BMS and Fire Alarm systems, is desirable.
  • Maintenance and cleaning of FCUs, water testing (L8), and fire alarm testing are essential skills.
